Will Lenton is a saxophonist working as a composer, performer and teacher from his home in Cornholme, West Yorkshire. He has played and enjoyed music all his life, although his first degree was in Ecology and Anthropology at Durham University. In 2002/03 he cycled 17,000 miles from Arctic Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in Argentina, raising 12,000 pounds for Medecins Sans Frontieres. On return to the U.K. he moved to Manchester and re-trained as a musician, gaining an MA in Music Peformance at Salford University.
His passion for jazz, bikes and 1970s mountaineering equipment is patiently humoured by his young family.
